Here are some of our explorations and learning this week. Cresting our Family Wishes Tree during Meet the Teacher night. Invitation to create a fall story. Creating fall stories about my family. Doing a little morphology work (thanks @wonderfullinquiry). Creating a fall house with marble run-food court-games room and all. Looking closely at fall objects. Working with our heart words. Putting up our UFLI anchor charts.

Just an average week in my current Early Years role 💛

If you’re going to be creative, you have to be in a state of play… and that’s exactly what happened here. 🧡

Our little learners explored the mud kitchen with curiosity, imagination, and messy hands, mixing, pouring, creating, and pretending. When children feel free to play without worrying about being “careful” or perfect, that’s when the real creativity begins.

Play isn’t just fun it’s where learning, problem-solving, and imagination grow. 🌿

A little school visit … for teachers 🍎 ⁣

That’s right, CCT visited some hardworking teachers this week and provided some much needed stress relief. ⁣
⁣
We also gave them an A+ for cuddles 🥰 ⁣
⁣
Newest team member MILLY joined us. An adopted rescue dog, and a total angel. She lost an eye prior to being adopted. Her demeanour is so incredibly sweet and gentle and hasn’t let anything stop her yet! ⁣

Who would’ve thought my favorite Ontario teacher and I share the same birthday?! Inspired by birthday twin @wonderfullinquiry , I’m taking a minute to honor another trip around the sun. ☀️💫

Grateful for the people, the adventures, and the little joys that make life brighter. Special thanks to my biggest supporter @kyakemch and everyone who’s helped me along the way. I don’t create content for the sake of it, I’m simply sharing what brings me joy. I hope to stay authentic and true to my passion for play, inquiry, and inclusion. Away from the classroom, I love shopping at Winners, Christmas, and everything Peloton.

Another year older, a little wiser, and still loving all the mess, magic, and learning that comes with life (and teaching little humans!). Here’s to more laughter, creativity, and moments that make our hearts happy, both in the classroom and beyond. ✨

I finally found my dream school visit — Landakotsskóli, Reykjavík 🇮🇸

A school where creativity breathes in every corner.

Education has no borders — it lives wherever curiosity and care meet. 🌍✨

This visit reminded me why we teach — to connect, create, and keep learning.
