‘The Madness’ is a new series on Netflix under the thriller genre. This show had captivated my attention from the start but unfortunately that didn’t last. The pace was good at first but the longer the show went on, it seemed that everything was just so spaced out and of no real value. However, the cast was diverse and the acting was phenomenal! The budget was good and production also did well. I also enjoy how we found out why the series had its name in a monologue in the final episode. The plot was captivating enough and not super predictable, however, I must say I feel like this series would’ve thrived more if it was a movie. I really hoped to like this and rate it highly but unfortunately it dragged for me, I give it a 7/10.

Backing it up a bit to TIFF24 and when I got the opportunity to co-create this panel at the #AfricaHub with the amazing @lore_dada_art and @global.affairs.canada .

Funny part is I wasn’t initially meant to moderate (anyone who knows me, knows I speak very quietly and I’m not really a fan of public speaking).

So NATURALLY when we couldn’t make other options work , I challenged myself to do it. And I had a GREAT time 😂.

Growth doesn’t happen in a comfort zone.

Massive thanks to the amazing panelists @zvlv @ch10ma @workitware @thesmallaxx gobezmedia @directorngardy

Always great working with you @lore_dada_art (2025 here we come 😂)

It was great to attend #tiff2024, had tone of fun, my favourite year so far!

Loved reconnecting with many filmmakers friends I hadn’t seen in a while like @emiliamartel, meet in person for the first time with others like @melodiousimagefilm & also connect with new creatives I had great discussions with. A week at TIFF got that creative juice flowing. 🧠 ✍🏾

Thank you @tiff_net for the opportunity to take part in this years series accelerator, I learned a whole lot & I’m really excited to see all the amazing projects from the other writer-producer duo come to life!

It was also real pleasure to attend #contentcanada for the first time and pitch some new projects! Thank you @blackscreenoffice for making this happen. 🙏🏾

Until next year! 👋🏾
