I’ve really enjoyed making “One Love” as I felt l could use bright colours to speak for my emotions!
ONE LOVE - is about love for one another, love for oneself and also love for what we have and what we do. It’s a myriad of emotions, just like colours in this painting.

90x90cm, oil on plexiglass,

"The Transporters" Series

Tuktuk, 3 wheeler transport is gaining foot in most estates in Nairobi, making it the 3rd most popular means after matatus and bodabodas. It is facilitated by two simple reasons, affordability and convenience of not sharing your space with other passengers. Although lack in speed and agility, has a bigger luggage capacity and also a safer option than bodabodas.
Here, the mother is seen negotiating the price to her destination and the child telling the idler to make space for them to hop on. They are both dressed beautifully for Sunday church.

"The Transporters" series

The bicycle is used as a mode of transport between home and school. On the weekends, the older siblings offer joy rides to the younger ones. Since there is room for only two, they somehow squeeze a third one, and the younger ones are given priority seats. By this time, the older one is experienced enough to cycle while upstanding.
Nothing compares to the simple pleasure of a bike ride, as seen in this painting "PAMOJA"(together)

TITLE: RUN FOR DEAR LIFE
Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
Size: 50 X 40cm
DM If you would like this art hanging in your space 💙

We are known as the jungle's laughter, but we are part of the 'ugly five.' We forage and flee from the jungle's top predators, but we still stand tall, our tails raised as we warn others to 'Run for your life!' Our vibrant colors reflect the fast-paced, unpredictable jungle.
