Finally had a chance to look at the some of the clips from my first morning at @thunderbombsurfcamp in northern Nicaragua 🇳🇮

I have to say it was one of the funnest and biggest weeks of surfing I’ve had in a very long time. @thunderbombsurfcamp has been on my bucket list forever and it didn’t disappoint! The forecast was looking kinda average I thought before arriving but was greeted with waves like this and better all week. Food was next level and the staff were legends 🙌🏼 Do check the place out. It’s epic.

Little known benefit of the HIBT 3+3 fin cluster is the ability to add a little extra spice to the twin fin option with some Twinza Canards 👌🏼

I’ve found adding the canards just gives the twin a little more drive and control in some situations without the drag a centre stabiliser adds if you were to go that way.

Right after the model launch I got a phone call from the man himself, @birdhuffman who put me onto it being an option. So thank you for that mate! @birdssurfshed

We call it a money shot. People see the final result, but they have no idea what’s behind it. Every perfect shot or clip is a team work between the cameraman and the rider, with discussions, planning, timing, positioning, multiple attempts, and a little luck. We’ve long wanted to get a shot like this with @lena_kinetika , hanging ten past me for a long time against the sunset. Of course, with this positioning, I shoot until the end and take the closing wave head-on.
And I will never stop thanking @liquideyewaterhousings for the opportunity to be with a camera on and under water.

Yesterday’s clip was the 6’10, today it’s the big boy! 50L 7’2 HIBT 3+3 plenty of foam and rail size up front but such a nice foil and performance for a big Board.

Even with my XXL FCS quads the 6’10 HIBT 3+3 has such a nice amount of release out of the lip.
I generally ride my Large quads in all the sizes 5’10 - 6’6 then switch to my XXL for the 6’10 & 7’2.
