TWIN CITIES MARATHON 🔥

I have so much love for the Twin Cities Marathon and the amazing people at @twincitiesinmotion who make this weekend happen!

Yesterday was my 13th TCM, and I’ve got all the feels thinking back to my first one in 2010.

Just look at what makes this weekend so special:

🏃 10,000+ marathoners
🎉 42,000+ runners across TCM weekend
📣 300,000+ spectators
🤲🏼 4,000+ volunteers
🏆 One of the best marathons in the nation

There’s just nothing like running from Minneapolis to St. Paul with this community cheering you on.

Huge THANK YOU to every volunteer, spectator, fellow runner, and everyone behind the scenes who makes this weekend so special!

See you October 15–17 for the 45th Twin Cities Marathon Weekend — at the new, later date! 🎉

A new uniform may seem simple, but to a child, it can bring confidence, dignity, and joy.

We are grateful to the Charles Antetokounmpo Family Foundation and Worldserve International for further supporting the children of Arise Academy with uniforms, sandals, and socks.

Your kindness continues to make a difference. You too can help a child rise. Support our children with a donation:

The Tolliver kids set out with a goal of helping raise $50,000 for clean water in Africa. They EXCEEDED it. This summer, the family traveled to Tanzania with @worldserveintl, where they saw Tolliver Family Foundation-supported water projects and schools firsthand.

There is a difference between telling children that generosity matters and giving them the chance to see what it makes possible.

Standing beside a well. Seeing the water flow. Learning how it serves a school and community. Experiences like these can turn generosity from an abstract idea into something a child can understand and remember.

@atolliver44 talked on A Better Way about building a legacy that goes beyond financial wealth. For the Tolliver family, experiences like this are part of that legacy: involving their children in generosity and giving them the opportunity to see where it leads.

Our Next Waymaker Project! 💧

If your child joined us this past Sunday, they should have received a Jerry Can to help raise funds for our next Waymaker Project! Over the next few months, kids can fill their cans with an offering to help provide clean water to families in Tanzania, Africa, through @worldserveintl

If your child didn’t receive a Jerry Can, we’ll have more available in Elementary and our 4&5s class this Sunday!

And don’t miss this Sunday as we continue our series, Frequency: Learning to Hear God’s Voice! We can’t wait to see your kids at HPKids!

A day of joy, gratitude and celebration at Arise Academy!

Today, we celebrated the official launch of the newly renovated school building, toilets and borehole, made possible through the generous support of the Charles Antetokounmpo Family Foundation and Worldserve International.

It was a beautiful occasion filled with heartfelt appreciation, joyful dances from the children and moments of celebration. We are deeply grateful to our partners for investing in a better learning environment and brighter future for our children.

Here’s a glimpse of the memorable day!

It starts with water.

Some highlights from my last trip with @worldserveintl.💧

The work they’re doing in Kenya, and all across Africa, is impacting generations (& I’m so inspired by it!).

Water leads the way — toward better health and greater opportunity.

It starts with water, but it doesn’t end with it. WorldServe is finding a way to totally transform communities! Follow along for all to come.🤩
