✨ NEW DANCE-LIFE CHAPTER ✨ So excited to officially join @newyorkbellydancefestival in Partnerships & Outreach. 🗽💃 Apparently going everywhere, dancing with everyone, connecting people, researching opportunities, and asking “Wait, why aren’t these two worlds talking to each other?” has become a professional skill. 😂 I’ll be helping NYBDF build relationships with dancers, instructors, studios, ambassadors, brands, and community partners and finding new ways to bring our dance community into rooms where it belongs. A huge thank you to @sammydance for trusting me with this role and giving me room to run with some ideas. 💛 And we’re starting immediately. 🐎 💄 FIRST STOP: @makeupin_world I’ll be at MakeUp in NewYork at the @javitscenter this week, learning what’s happening in beauty and starting conversations about something working dancers know very well: Our makeup has a JOB to do. 😂 Sweat. Stage lights. Close-up gigs. Costume transfer. Body makeup. Photography. Longevity. I want to hear what dancers need and explore what becomes possible when the beauty and dance worlds start talking to each other. If you’re a dancer, instructor, studio, brand, or organization thinking, “We should probably know each other…” You’re probably right. Still riding the high from this weekend—I officially made my NYC dance debut at The Loft! Naturally, my ballroom obsession continues tonight with Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro semifinals. Im so excited to see the final four tackle partner chemistry with pros like Rylee Arnold, Gleb Savchenko, Jan Ravnik, and Witney Carson (plus guest judge Kym Johnson).
