Comp No. 6! With my litany of owies going into this meet, we decided to try to power everything and have some fun. Easier said than done - lifts generally went power ➡️ pow ➡️ full through opening, second, and final attempts.

Snatch: 100/105/110
C&J: 130/135/140

6-for-6 on any day is a good day, and I eeked out a 10kg power jerk PR in the process! Still finding ways to challenge myself despite current limitations.

I’m grateful for all the support from the @wormtownweightlifting gang, and for all the cool people I got to meet this weekend. Looking forward to getting healthy (having a small knee operation done later this month!) and competing against all the big dawgs in this stacked 85kg weight class. Gotta take these next few months day by day, but my eyes are on the Arnold!

After a very difficult and stubborn cut (hello my fellow mid-40's feral Peri-menopausal ladies 👋) I'm walking away from this meet actual really proud of myself for being super on point with nutrition/ training the last couple months. As we ladies know...you can sometimes do every single thing "right", no deviations, no shortcuts, and sometimes our bodies are just going to do what they want. I wanted to give up so many times but pushed through, and like every Competition block I'll walk away with more knowledge for the next time.
Thank you to @wormtownweightlifting and everyone on the team for being so supportive and wonderful and @coach_dbax for the warmup vibes!
@cedarsnutrition @jessiestemo once again DID NOT MISS and I made weight at exactly 69.0.

Made my 1st snatch and 1st C&J attempts after not feeling my best, got Silver 🥈for my age so I've gotta be proud of that!
Can't wait to get back to work, back to being fueled and fierce! AND NEVER SEE 69KG AGAIN 😉

New England WSO 2026

Had an absolute blast competing this weekend! Thankful for all of the worms who competed, coached, volunteered, and came to watch. Special shoutout to @kilosandcravings for sharing the platform with me and keeping the vibes high 💗🪱

Went 5/6 on the day! Hoping to hit 60kg on the platform soon

No videos or pictures of my lifts but that’s ok. Surrounded by my Worms and the New England Weighlifting community I had a meet. A meet where I enjoyed every moment including the final last missed lift, where I gave it my all, and where I simply took it all in understanding how blessed I truly am.

Here are my totals

Snatch 26/28/29
C&J 37/40/42x

Good enough to qualify for AO series and Masters Worlds. Pretty dang proud of that.

Time to take a quick break and then get back to work building back my legs.

Thanks Coach Joe and thanks to my team mates who helped make the day special.

Most coaching platforms are built for personal training. Joe Black coaches olympic weightlifting - a different sport, with different needs - and kept running into features that didn't fit.

Programs built in Excel sheet, then re-typed into another app by hand. Data locked into short limited blocks with no way to see an athlete’s full year at once. Useful for a general fitness trainer. Not built for a weightlifting coach.

With CoachLogik - Joe does his macro planning right there in one place, no separate sheet, no double entry, and now has more time to coach the way he wants. He tracks the data he actually wants and builds custom programs for every athlete, on a platform made for the sport he coaches, weightlifting.
