Took myself on a little field trip to a new-to-me thrift store today!

First stop was Worthwhile Thrift, a nonprofit serving individuals affected by human trafficking and exploitation. While I was there, I met the kindest man who recommended I stop at New Life Thrift on my way home.

Both stops were SO worth the drive. Great finds, great prices, and honestly way more reasonable than a lot of South Jersey thrifts. I’ll definitely be making the trip back! 🤎

Human trafficking is a difficult reality, but doing something about it is a choice we can all make! 👏🏼

Learn, talk, give, volunteer, show up, and stand with survivors.

Together, we can continue to create pathways to independence and freedom. 💙

Our annual Staff & Volunteer Appreciation Night was full of laughter, celebrating strikes, giving away “vintage” Worthwhile merch and @worthwhilethrift gift cards, and simply enjoying time together outside of the busy day-to-day of our non-profit. 🎳💙

At Worthwhile, we deeply value the people who pour so much into this mission. Our staff and volunteers show up every day with compassion, flexibility, creativity, and heart, and we never want that to go unnoticed.

So every year, we set aside a night to celebrate them! Good people, lots of fun, and a small way to say thank you for making this work possible. We’re grateful for this community!
