New date!

🌳✨ Meet the Candidates, Connect with Your Community! 🗳️

We want to make civic engagement accessible and welcoming for ALL residents — whether you have young kids or not!💚 That’s why we’re offering two ways to connect with the candidates, so you can choose the format that works best for you!

JC Heights Parents invites you to a County Commissioner Meet & Greet at Riverview Park!

📅 Tuesday, October 27
📍 Riverview Park

🛝 5:00–6:00 PM | Playground Mixer
Let the kids play while parents have a chance to mingle, ask questions, and chat with the commissioners. Perfect for families with little ones!

⛲ 6:00–7:00 PM | Fountainside Chat
Prefer a more relaxed, seated conversation? Pull up a chair and get to know the commissioners by the fountain! (Rain plan: We’ll meet in the gazebo.)

✨ Come for one or stay for both! Whether you’re a parent, a neighbor, or simply someone who cares about our community, you’re welcome here.

🗳️ Election Day: November 3
Early voting: October 24 – November 1

Local elections shape our neighborhoods, parks, schools, and everyday lives. Let’s get informed, ask questions, and make our voices heard!

Remember: Every vote counts! 💛

This weekend, two of our Union City Students made a powerful impact on their community with their fearless efforts to bring vibrance to our neighborhood. Our JMSA Art Student, Alma G., and UCHS Art Student, Liyah M., both took part in Washington Park's 5th Annual Pavement Art Festival. They joined 8 other local Hudson County artists in transforming walkways with original murals. The park gleamed with joy as live music filled the air and artists worked diligently to complete their artistic ventures. This year's theme was "When the World comes to play." What an inspiration it is for our Art Students to be actively involved in the community!
