What a day. What a vibe. What an incredible way to come together for such an important cause! The Popeye’s Ultra 50KM in support of @cancercarembfdn was something truly special. Watching this community show up for one another, lift each other up and keep each other moving was such a beautiful thing to be part of. From the high fives and encouraging words to the laughter, cheers and “you’ve got this” moments — this is what community is all about. I’m so proud of every single runner who showed up and gave it their all. Running isn’t easy on the best of days, so whether you joined for one leg, multiple legs or took on the whole thing, be damn proud of yourself. We got to move our bodies. We got to challenge ourselves. We got to do something that not everyone gets the opportunity to do — all while coming together to support CancerCare Manitoba Foundation and the incredibly important work they do for Manitobans affected by cancer. A huge thank you to every volunteer, supporter and sponsor who helped make this day possible. Events like this don’t just happen. There are countless hours, moving pieces and incredible people working behind the scenes to create a day like this. @chryston_204 & @amaliadavislifestyle — thank you for making sure no one was left behind, for encouraging us and supporting us every step of the way. And @lurechia and the entire @popeyeswinnipeg crew — you are an incredible bunch of humans and you should be SO proud of what you created. 50KM. One incredible community. One important cause. One unforgettable day. We showed up. We lifted each other up. We moved our bodies for those who can’t — and together, we helped make a difference in support of CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.

I DID IT 💜🤘🏼 42.2 KM What a journey. Today, I can finally say I completed my first full marathon. This was a wild ride filled with early mornings, long runs, challenges, doubts, and so many lessons along the way. But every step was worth it. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who cheered me on, supported me, and believed in me throughout this journey. Your encouragement carried me farther than you know. Thank you to my amazing hubby @wpgcesar , my incredible Popeye’s team, and @bsblogistica for giving me the support I needed to chase this goal. I enjoyed every single minute out there. We wrapped the 2025 running season with a bang 🙏🏻💥 I tried to lower my expectations for this one since training wasn’t where I wanted it to be, but I was not expecting a PR 🏃‍♀️ June 2025 Manitoba Marathon - 2:01 🏁 October 2025 WFPS - 1:51 (10 min faster) If you ran the 10km today, hope you caught our amazing Popeye’s ambassadors at Water Station 3 keeping everyone fueled and motivated 💪🏻 It was a busy weekend with @wfpsrun and I’m so proud of everyone who showed up, volunteered, and gave their best.
