Jossef is the final incoming senior of the drum major team! His hobbies include Camping, volunteering at the library, gardening, and making music. A fun fact about him is that he is from Alberta, Canada🇨🇦, and his favorite food is Char Siu Bao (BBQ pork buns)!

These last 3 weeks have been so eventful and tiring, but its also been one of the greatest 3 weeks this whole summer

I can't wait to spend my last year with such amazing and talented people

Prophecy of Peace 🏜️🔮☮️ 3/4

i’m not going to lie, at the start of this season i was so withdrawn from this activity. i was lowkey begging for the season to just end. someone i looked up to had graduated, and losing that role model made me feel lost. but my wish didn’t come true. this season felt never-ending. well, i guess it’s not never-ending since it just ended. but now, looking back, i’m so glad i got to experience this season.

when i first heard the prophecy of leading 42 flutes, i don’t think any of us really knew what we were getting into. i thought the prophecy meant getting our highest ranking, 2nd at boa, earning our first caption, winning katy cup back, placing 2nd at area, and becoming the 13th state finalist. but somewhere along the way, i realized the real prophecy wasn’t about placements. it was about the people, the laughter, the inside jokes, the late nights, and every moment that reminded me why i love band. through all the stress and chaos, i found peace within myself. prophecy of peace wasn’t just the name of our show, it became what this season meant to me.

i want to thank everyone who helped me complete the prophecy.
 first, smile sukandley, the freshman group (and no, i’m not listing all 20 of you). each year i learn a new definition of love, and this year you all taught me that love doesn’t always have to be deep or serious. the love we share is teasing each other, joking around, but also being there when it matters. my memory drive is officially in overload from all the core memories we’ve made, from goofing off at games and doing makeup on buses to holding hands during placement announcements. i’ll carry those memories forever, even if i end up with half my brain gone to dementia.

up next, is unfortunately, the bums, the honorary flutes in my heart. ik ik i should just leave them out but i’d be
the a true bum if i did. if you didn’t know, the bums are andrew, john, peter, and daniel kim. you guys were my first ever friend group in band that wasn’t all flutes, and i’m so glad it was you bums. i remember hating being at the very back of the stands for football games, but it wasn’t so bad with you guys around.
