Last night at Wrestle World TX, my brother retired from Professional Wrestling.

For those unable to attend, I was given one final box. For those in attendance, the pictures attached were the contents that you did not see.

• A note attached to a picture of myself, Jason, and Cody.
• The book “Old Yeller” with two written messages inside.

I understand now.

Jason, you never truly turned your back on me or the fans. You needed someone that you trust and love to give you the proper send off that you never had. You needed closure, and you had to force my hand to do it.

As hard as this was, I cannot explain how happy I am to give you what you needed. In this business, it is hard to find closure and a way to go out on our own terms. But last night, you did just that. And I am honored to give you the peace that you needed to move forward.

I’m going to miss you.
The business is going to miss you.
But this friendship will remain.

This one was for Cody. For Killer.
This one was to put a final lock on the last 17 years.

This one was for my brother.

Thank you for standing by us.

Today: “GOODBYE”
_________________

In October 2009, I began training to become a Professional Wrestler. In October 2026, I put that career on the line.

I’ve spent this week highlighting my career, trainers, fans, colleagues, and family. But this post is for my best friend. Not “Billy Club.” This is for Jason Driggars.

Jason, we’ve promoted this as a 16-year story, but we both know it’s closer to 17.

Remember that cold winter day in Cody’s ring? Talking about our futures, retirement matches, and how fitting it would be for one of us to send the other into the sunset?

We both said, “It has to be you.”

Nearly 17 years later, here we are.

I may never understand why you’ve forced my hand or why you’re willing to risk everything tonight. But I need you to understand something:

If tonight is my last match, I’m okay with that.

If my career ends against someone I once looked up to, someone I STILL consider my best friend, surrounded by my family and my extended family at WWTX, I’ll walk away knowing I made it.

And strangely enough, part of me is still cheering for you. Despite everything, I’m happy you’re back.

But Jason, if you want to stay in Professional Wrestling, you’ll have to defeat a pillar of this state. You’ll have to beat me at my absolute best.

I’m giving you exactly what you wanted. I’m giving you the fight of your life.

I just hope that after this final goodbye, there’s something left of our friendship to salvage.

To everyone attending tonight, please Stand By Me. I need you now more than ever.

For Cody. For Killer. For all of you.
For a dream that came true.
For my brother.

Let’s make history.

Tomorrow: “FAMILY”
___________________

Today, the emotions are hitting me hard. Knowing that this match with Jason is only one day away is hard to fathom.

But, on the eve of one of the most important and emotional matches of my career, I want to spotlight my family.

I wouldn’t be where I am, had the career that I’ve had, or be the man that I am without my family. To say that I have been blessed beyond measure; is an absolute understatement.

• I am surrounded by those that support me.
• I have parents that I could only dream of.
• I have the unconditional love of my grandparents.
• As an only child, I have a big brother in Taylor Jace Brown despite us being cousins by blood.
• I have extended family on all sides that I adore.
• I have a fiancé in Taylor Odom that I love endlessly.
• I have future stepchildren that I couldn’t be more proud of.

I have a family that no written words will ever do justice. And I know that tomorrow, even if they aren’t in attendance at @wrestleworldtx , I know that they’ll be there. And that no matter what happens, that they’ll Stand By Me.

If you’ve supported my journey at any point during the last 16 years, please give the video in my Instagram bio a watch and a share.

This match tomorrow means more to me than anyone can understand. This is a love letter to my fans, to my family, to Cody, and to Killer. This is to a childhood dream that came true.

The door to the past has been closed for a long time. Tomorrow at @wrestleworldtx , we put a lock on it forever.

Please be there.
Please Stand By Me.
