Barbed wire. Again. Something about it just says “take my picture”.

The next pictures will be of something VERY VERY different……….

There’s something about barbed wire that I’ve always quite enjoyed visually. The more weathered/patina’d and beaten the better.

This is the look of satisfaction……. and incredible stink!

The skunk (passer by might I add) that he was kind enough to rid us of has left it’s mark. Bathing, sprinkler play, specialty sprays, washing, and whatever else that can be done has helped but there is a hint of stink left on him.

It’s funny how he feels it’s his duty to protect us from all things that enter our boarders - regardless of outcome.

He’s a good boy. Just maybe too good 🤣😂

My favourite part of the shop……. This jewel. It may not seem like much to most, but it is something that is quite sentimental to me. This was the spare tire from my fathers 1967 Plymouth convertible, a car that was fair weather transportation to watch many of my football games as a teen into adulthood. It was in the car when friends and I (or even my father) were up to shenanigans on a Friday or Saturday night for many summer. This tire was with the car for most of its life wearing the original polyglas tire that came with the wheel in the very early 70’s. This was one of the cars I was deeply rooted into car culture with. Having this tire on the wall sparks a lot of really great memories, and lucky for me it can also be an air hose holder.

Our cactus patch finally has a flower!!!! Just one…….. for now. It appears that a few more are coming soon, not sure if this will sway the decision in getting rid of this massive box of cacti or not.

This is another moment of Tyus hanging out with me in the office on his red velvet blanket (not really, but he like to feel like royalty).

Between playtime, guarding things, surveying the property, and as many truck rides as he can get - this is one of his evening past times.

Where you’re all played out, you have to crash somewhere? Right?
