Happy 1st birthday to our pup Milly!!

Her and Lilly definitely picked each other out at first sight. And Lilly reminds us daily that she is HER puppy 😂

Is having a puppy 1000 times harder than I remember? YES! Are we obsessed with her? YOU BET! She is full of wild energy, makes us play ball for hours, and we are learning a lot. ❤️

Scroll to the last photo to see her holiday adoption photo at the shelter. Originally she was “Cammy” and we thought she was a miniature dachshund/jack russell. We have no clue what she really is and thats ok.

We still miss our sweet Matilda a lot and will always hold a spot in our hearts for her. 🐾🌈

“I adopted this beautiful girl on June 13, 2026. Her name is Sunny (aka Bridgette). She is sweet, smart, sassy, and gets into everything - so full of love 💞

Love her as much as anyone can love another being on this earth and beyond the stars. Thank you for saving these precious souls that are so full of love and giving them the opportunity they deserve to be with a loving family!” – Sunny’s Family

Thank you to our rescue partner, Wright Way Rescue, for helping Sunny find her forever home!

More food. More full bowls. More opportunities to say “yes” to animals in need. ❤️🐾

Through Rescue Pack distributions and generous food donations from PetSmart, Wright-Way Rescue is able to stretch its resources further while caring for thousands of homeless animals each year.

We’re proud to be part of a partnership that quite literally helps save lives. 🐶🐱

Thank you, Wright-Way Rescue and PetSmart, for helping us create fuller bellies and fuller hearts. ❤️

After a lot of thought, we decided it was time to expand our little family. 🐾❤️

Ace has always been the most social cat—he’ll walk up to anyone, including other cats and dogs. As a true COVID cat, he also grew up having me home all the time and still hates when I leave for work. With Ace turning 7 next year, I figured it was finally time to get him a little feline bro.

Meet Parce. 🐱

Born July 8, 2026, Parce was rescued from Southern Illinois and fostered before making his way to us. His breed is a mystery, although he definitely gives some Maine Coon vibes. 👀

He’s constantly purring, full of energy, playful, and loves to cuddle. Ace is still acting like his normal self with the new addition, and we have a feeling these two will be best bros in no time. ❤️

Welcome home, Parce. 🐾
