Something a little different...

We were recently asked by a local car enthusiast if we would allow him to take a few photos of his car on-site.

When he explained it was a 1983 Mk1 Golf GTI inspired by the 1997 Wrigley Golf rally car, we could hardly say no!

For all the car enthusiasts, the Mk1 has a 1.8t Audi TT engine with 270bhp, painted livery, fully custom trimmed interior, and a whole list of extensive modifications.

The EBC Brakes and EBC Brakes Racing teams thoroughly enjoyed another instalment of the Gravity indoor car show recently, set at Birmingham’s NEC.

Acting as a headline sponsor for the second year running, the braking firm once again hosted a significant trade stand in the heart of the event, jam-packed full of components, merch and EBC-shod vehicles.

For the full event overview, head to the 'News' tab in the link in our bio...

Golf Mk1, inside and out, is a beautifully put-together combination. The body kit gives it an aggressive stance, while the interior is packed with details that are easy to get lost in. Every element feels carefully chosen, from the fitment and proportions to the smallest touches inside the cabin.

And then there’s the sound… absolutely therapeutic. 🔊
