We are doing it again! We are holding another poetry workshop. Only this time, we are letting the sounds of the wind, the colours of spring and gentle touch of the sun guide our writing. Join us as we gather under a shaded tree to talk about the process of extracting a poem from within us, how nature can help us tap into our creativity, and how to develop a regular poetry writing practice. We will also be exploring how those interested can start to share their poetry with the world. When: Nov 7th Where:Bicentennial park Time: 10.30-2pm Bring a packed lunch, water, hat and sun screen. What specific scent brings you right back to a moment of comfort, and what colors paint the backdrop of your memories? Join us for Home & Heart, a reflective and welcoming poetry workshop where we will explore the sensory landscape of what “home” means to each of us. Whether home is a physical place, a person, a feeling, or a shifting memory, this workshop will give you the space to put those experiences into words. What to Expect * Sensory Exploration: Guided writing prompts focused on the sounds, scents, and colors that define our personal spaces. * Creative Community: A safe, supportive, and inspiring environment to share ideas and write alongside fellow poetry lovers * no prior writing experience needed!
 What to Bring: To help inspire our writing, we invite participants to bring a small item unique to your home (something that holds personal meaning, a texture you love, or a scent that grounds you). Can’t bring an object? No problem at all—feel free to bring a photograph on your phone instead!
