Thanks to @writerchado for sending me a signed copy of his book, as well as the stickers and bookmarks! Chad has had a crazy last few years of his life from being on KT 3 times, publishing books, and being hospitalized for rare and critical health issues. Chad made his KT debut in 2023 on 630. His minute was about his 24 year marriage and having a racist dog. He wanted his 1st time doing stand up to be on the show, but after 3 failed sign up attempts, he started doing mics up to 15 times a week. 63 attempts later he finally had his chance! All 3 interviews were similar. He talked about his wife of 27 years, and his 2 children, as well as teaching a cannabis class. Every appearance, Tony asked how they keep things interesting in the bedroom and Chad had a new joke/answer every time. On this one, he said they opened the marriage and the became the joke for the rest of the episode. He was given a little joke book this time, but got his big one on 718. In 2024, he released @roommatenovel. 3 years into comedy, he had a great set with 3 different premises. They talked about the book, as well as updates on his children, how he and his wife keep things interesting by locking the door so she can’t escape. His last appearance was on 740. The joke was about his wife not getting enough pleasure in bed. Once again, when asked how they keep it fresh, he said he waits until she falls asleep, then beats off. He was able to promote his children books for adults (Stevie J) and gave the panel a copy! In 2025, he released another book called “DreaMT.” All 6 books can be found on his website linked in his bio! “Roommate” was also featured as the prize book on episode 83 of @storywarz! Somewhere in the middle of that, he was hospitalized with Splenic Infarction and had an infection that spread to his liver and pancreas and had pneumonia on top of it. Luckily he says things are much better and he feels good now! Check out his YouTube account for short sets, his special, and a crazy person trying to break into the mothership! Thank you so much for the signed book and I’m glad everything is better now! I wish you the absolute best and it was really nice to meet you! Thanks again!
