My dear sister and friend, Chanell since your passing on January 19th, I’ve been seeing life through a different lens. Though it hurts I smile because I find my Joy and comfort from Jesus. Yahweh has been opening my eyes, reminding me that this life is not my own and that my body is a temple of the living God. When we depart from this earth, we are confident that, in Christ, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8). Our earthly vessels are temporary, but our souls are eternal.

Your passing has taught me even more to hold those around me closer than ever before because life is too precious not to give people their flowers, too short not to forgive, too beautiful not to encourage others, too valuable not to cherish the smallest moments and make them smile while they are still here.

I am so grateful for you and the impact you had on my life. You brought nothing but joy, laughter, and peace. I thank God for the light you were in my life and in the lives of so many others. May you continue to fly high with Christ Jesus. I know you are above, dancing in the presence of the Most High, and I find comfort in knowing your heart belonged to Him.

I love you always. ❤️
