Kaguya is an Iranian DJ who started her journey in 2022. Her passion for electronic music inspired her to find a way to share her sounds with people. Through the atmosphere she creates with her music, she aims to showcase different and new aspects of life, leaving a unique experience in her audience’s minds. Her music primarily features organic sounds inspired by nature, combined with energetic rhythms.

Kaguya wants to continue making music and grow more creative every day, exploring new ideas for her sound. She hopes to travel to different places to gain inspiration from her surroundings and her feelings about the events around her. One of her main goals is to persist in her work, especially as a female artist in Iran, despite the challenges that women face here. Kaguya aspires to be one of the pioneers in her field and an inspiration for others who want to pursue their dreams, no matter how difficult it may be.

Kaguya’s mix is a hypnotic journey through deep, acidic textures and rolling techno grooves. She layers tracks with a careful balance of tension and release, weaving atmospheric and melodic elements like Shimmers and Trembling with punchy, driving cuts like Delitto and Swinger. The set likely flows in a way that builds steadily, letting each track’s percussive patterns and basslines evolve over time, creating an immersive, trance-like experience that’s both meditative and dancefloor-ready. It’s a mix that rewards close listening while keeping the energy taut and hypnotic.

Super happy to announce I've won the latest DJ contest hosted by @edit_select !

Not only is the label one of my all-time favorites but it also played a big part in shaping my early taste in techno, so I tried to cover a full spectrum of the label's releases with this one-hour set, from deep & atmospheric tracks to peak-time intensities.

You can find the mix link in my bio, along with the full tracklist on slide 2 📝

A big thank you to Tony for this opportunity, and I hope you'll enjoy the mix ! 🌊

Listen to my opening-set for @oefenmeesters

For the ones that don’t know, they have recently started a series called “Set The Mood”. In this series they challenge artists to create an opening-set.

Having already multiple openingsets online, I challenged myself to go even “slower” than usual. For this set, I projected myself opening a big festival at 12:00, with the sun shining through the cloudless blue sky.

You’l be taken on a journey with deep and atmospheric techno, we’re the goal is to find the sweet spot between “dreaming away” & “being ready to dance all day”.

Hope you enjoy set!

LAST MIX OF 2024 ☄️

I’ve put together some of my favorite tracks of the year into a relaxed yet groovy mix, perfect as a musical accompaniment to the end of the year.
I hope you enjoy it! The link is waiting for you in my bio. Tracklist on the last slide as usual 🫶🏻

Honored to contribute a guest mix to @distant__signals courtesy of @drake_pfeiffer. The concept behind each mix is that it’s a received transmission in the vastness of space and an invitation to build a world or tell a story. This mix is a reflection of the questions and feelings I have about being alive today, in this moment - link in bio.

For this mix, I imagined a transmission from a world not unlike our own, in which a sentient species grapples with accelerating cultural and technological change. The slow, gradual rhythms of geologic time buried beneath the frenetic pulse of a technologized surface.

Within this vast evolving system, an individual awakes to look out at the structures criss-crossing the horizon – buildings that extend deep underground with people emerging to the surface like ants, distant waters pooled into huge humming tanks, mines carved into the side of a mountain, and lights illuminating a sky that never gets dark. They feel a momentary sense of unease before their attention is drawn to a torrent of information flooding their consciousness from transmitters embedded in their brain. They’ve been asleep too long and it’s time to get going.
