Happy 29th Anniversary to my forever boyfriend! ❤️

If there is one theme woven throughout our marriage, our family, and our lives, it is REDEMPTION.

Twenty-nine years ago, we were two college kids having a baby and getting married. The odds weren’t exactly in our favor, but God had a story to write that we never could have imagined. There is no doubt we wouldn’t be here today without His incredible grace, mercy, and faithfulness.

Rick, you are one of the most sacrificial people I have ever known. You’ve shown me unconditional love, forgiveness, patience, and grace through every season of life.

When we hear 1 Corinthians 13 read at weddings, it’s easy to think of it as beautiful, romantic words. But after 29 years, I know those words are anything but cliché.

“Love is patient, love is kind… It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” — 1 Corinthians 13:4–8

Not perfectly, but consistently, I’ve watched you live out those words, and I have been the grateful recipient of that love.

Together, we’ve been blessed with four biological children, two children through adoption, 4 beautiful daughters-in-law and now grandchildren! Each life and every chapter of our family carries its own beautiful story of God’s redemption.

As we embrace our grandparent era, finish strong in our careers, and continue serving through xHope, I am so excited for all that is ahead. We may someday retire from our careers, but we will never retire from serving Jesus and reminding others that no life is beyond His redeeming love.

Our faith in Christ has given us not only the hope of eternity but a life here on earth far more beautiful than we could have imagined.

Twenty-nine years later, we are still two imperfect people being held together by a perfectly faithful God.

I love you, Rick! Here’s to growing old together, loving our growing family, and watching God continue to write stories of REDEMPTION! ❤️

Who wears weighted vests in 90° weather and forgets water? 🙋‍♀️😂

Halfway through we sent an SOS to my hubby, and he showed up with ice-cold bubbly water. He saved the day. He’s the best. ❤️🥵💦

I will walk all the miles with these girls(but we need water). Love you @ckchurchill and @mindynewton

As I’ve grown older, I’ve realized the greatest legacy we can leave isn’t found wrapped under a tree — it’s found in moments. It’s time. It’s presence. It’s love that points them back to Jesus.

So this year, we gave them a full Valentine’s weekend together — a sleepover, church, the donut shop, movie night, Leatherby’s ice cream, and the most talked-about event of all… Disney on Ice. ✨

And as I looked around during those sweet, simple moments, I had a holy realization: we went from being parents… to in-laws… to grandparents. And I don’t want to miss a single second of it.

“Children’s children are a crown to the aged.” — Proverbs 17:6

Our grandchildren are not an interruption to our lives; they are a reward. A crown. A reminder that what we built is now building again.

“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” — Psalm 90:12

Legacy isn’t accidental. It’s intentional. It’s choosing the sleepover. Choosing church together. Choosing ice cream and laughter and holding little hands in crowded arenas. It’s planting seeds of faith in everyday moments.

More than anything, I want them to remember how it felt to be with us. To know that faith was lived, not just spoken. To see joy, generosity, and presence modeled before them.

Because one day, the lights of Disney will fade — but the light of Christ we pour into them will not.

And I don’t want to miss a moment. 💛#disneyonice

What a gift it is to serve alongside this board. 2025 was a year of reflection on God’s faithfulness—and 2026 is shaping up to be a year of bold vision, prayer, worship, and intentional leadership. We’re grateful for a board that brings wisdom, collaboration, and strong governance as we move forward together. Excited for all God has in store! 🤍

Starting the year the best way we know how—traveling together 🤍
After 28 years of marriage, we still choose to date each other, to slow down, and to make space for love. This weekend was filled with so many of our favorite things: real rest, scalp massages and pedicures, dinners with friends, football(his favorite), shopping(my favorite), and dancing the night away at the beautiful wedding of Kylie & Conner.
Grateful for a love that keeps growing, a marriage worth making priority, and a few days to pause, refresh, and celebrate—both our own love story and the beginning of theirs. ✨Congrats to a few of favorite friends, Kyle and Jen, we are so honored to so life with you! Your marriage is a beautiful example of unconditional, never-ending LOVE ❤️.

From humble beginnings to more than we dreamed or imagined, we are taking New Revival Church to Uganda in 2026. This is going to be epic!

🇺🇸 Fourth of July in Lake Tahoe — a gift from God and a weekend making memories.

All of our kids(and that’s hard to make happen these days), their spouses, and our grandbabies together in one place — we played volleyball, swam in the lake, paddle boarded, hiked Eagle Rock, and soaked up every moment.

These are the days that shape our legacy — rooted in love, laughter, and faith. We pray that the traditions we build today become the foundation our children and grandchildren carry into future generations.

Grateful for God’s goodness in every splash, every meal, every competition (there are always so many of those). 💙

“But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” – Joshua 24:15
