——FLASHBACK ⏳🕰️⌛️FAVORITE -—— 🌴🌊🌴 SEAWIND ~ “Follow Your Road” 🌴🌊🌴 SEAWIND, a popular jazz fusion group from Hawaii, is one of my all-time favorite bands. “Follow Your Road” is my favorite song from their “Light the Light” album and I was at its new release party at The Roxy in Hollywood circa 1979. I interviewed vocalist Pauline Wilson for my radio show on KPFK-FM and she said it was her favorite too. 🎶💽🎶 Through the years, “Follow Your Road” has meant so much to me but especially today as I wind up my last corporate day gig as an event producer for the past 18 years… I’m now at a career crossroads again and ready to roam down another path (possibly back to where I’ve rolled before). 🎶🚢🎶 After a two-week break, a big gig with artists I work with will be at the Greek Theatre, then we’ll be sailing the high seas for a 16-day music cruise to Hawaii. When I return, I’m packing up my four-car garage crammed with music memorabilia (enough for my own Rock & Roll Hall of Fame) and moving to new digs after 18 years in my cool bachelorette pad. 🎶🎸🎶 I’m ready to rock the next chapter of my life… and yes, finally write my book of more than 45 years in L.A.’s music industry. This month, I celebrated a milestone birthday (yes, in denial) and proud that it’s been a wild, awesome ride… and I’m excited to venture down a new road! As I always say, “No rockin’ chair for me yet, I’m still ROCKin’! (Sep 26, 2024) 🌴🤙🏽🌴
