Plyometric training for speed

Plyometrics were some of my favourite forms of training in my teens and 20’s as I was bouncy and they came naturally to me

As I hit my 30’s and began sprinting again I was more hesitant to do them as I wasn’t as good at them as I used to be and they would hurt/take its toll on my body.

I’m very grateful I’m getting my bounce back.

在剛過去的暑假，一眾小將再次出戰WSE广州站的賽事🏟️
因受颱風影響，賽事被逼腰斷，部分決賽要改期進行。⚡️🌩️⛈️惡劣的天氣無損運動員的鬥志，是次比賽取得理想的成績🏆

Jewel 繼澳門站後，再次於跳遠項目取得冠軍🥇並在100米取得決賽席位。
小將Ollie 第一次挑戰200米賽事，取得季軍，相信日後有更出色的比賽。
蘇齊恒於60米跑出個人最佳成績8”27，相信本年學界可以爭取更高的排名💪

[WSE Athletics Open Kuala Lumpur 2026]

This marked ONO Sport Malaysia's final WSE event.

Throughout this journey, we've been encouraged by incredible support while learning through every challenge along the way. Yet one thing has never changed—our commitment to creating a stage where athletics can thrive.

We've witnessed athletes giving everything they had, and we've heard the cheers that echoed from the stands.

For some, this was their very first competition. For others, it was another opportunity to push their limits. And for many, it was a place to rediscover their passion for athletics.

Moments like these remind us that what we do is worth it.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey.

Today, we've reached this milestone together.
The journey continues. We hope you'll be part of it.

这一站，是ONO Sport Malaysia主办的最后一场WSE赛事。

一路走来，我们收获了许多支持与鼓励，也经历过不足、挑战与成长。始终没有改变的，是我们想为田径打造一个舞台的初心。

我们看见运动员在赛场上全力以赴，也听见观众席上一声又一声的加油与呐喊。

有人在这里迎来人生第一场比赛，有人一次次挑战自己的极限，也有人因为这个舞台，重新找回对田径的热爱与热血。这些画面，让我们更加相信，坚持做这件事，是值得的。

Today I did something that made me so happy 😊
Back on my favourite even, the 800m

Track events is my background. I've been national level athlete in my younger age, trained by the best coaches in France, and competing multiple times on the bigest international stages.

After a nasty injury which cost me my career in track&field, I completely switched sports to experience bodybuilding, CF, Spartan, and all sorts of Hybrid events including Hyrox more recently.

Being back on the track today was pure emotion 😌

Blessed to still be dangerous despite a talented new generation. Uncle took the overall win today, and I'll make sure to fight my way for as long as I can 💪

🏃‍♂️💨 First time competing in an athletics competition organised by @wseopen at the Home of Athletics, Kallang, Singapore!

I decided to join the U7 60m and 100m events. Due to the number of participants, I was placed in a mixed-age category, and I'm so happy to have finished as 🥇 Champion in the U7 100m dash and 🥈 Runner-up in the 60m dash!

Looks like the special training session with Papa the night before really paid off! 😆

Now we're eagerly waiting for the medals and jerseys from the organisers hope they arrive soon!

What made the day even more fun was having my pushbike buddies, my neighbour competing alongside me too. So many great memories, new experiences, and lots of running! 🎉

由WSE SPORTS LIMITED主辦，澳門星娛樂製作有限公司承辦的WSE田徑公開賽澳門賽站於2026年5月24日在澳門奧林匹克體育中心順利舉行，本次賽事吸引超過500名運動員同場競技。

香港老將Aldo，先是在100米跑出11.52秒，下午又在200米跑出23.68秒，兩項紀錄都掛上了他的名字。衝線之後他抬頭看了看天，一切付出都得到了回報

三級跳遠沙池那邊，香港Move association俱樂部教練Chan Ching-lam，跳出了11.66米，打破了男子M30組別紀錄。從沙坑里站起來的時候，他渾身是沙子，笑得很開心。

接力、長跑、衝線、擁抱……510個人，510種拼盡全力的方式。

澳門運動場記住了你們的聲音。

下一站，繼續跑。
