Welcome to Fall 2026, @waketechcc !
“Because opportunities don’t always come knocking on your door. Sometimes, you have to show up where they’re happening.”
And at Wake Tech, opportunities are happening all semester long.

In this welcome message, Ian Gibbons, Senior Employer Connections Coordinator, shares why career fairs and employer events matter and how showing up prepared can make all the difference.
• The students who land internships.
• The students who build meaningful professional networks.
• The students who connect with their future employers.

They all have one thing in common:
They took action.
This semester, say YES to:
✨ Growth
✨ New experiences
✨ Building your network
✨ Stepping outside your comfort zone
✨ Preparing for your future career
Your next opportunity could be waiting at a career fair, employer event, or Career Services program.

Welcome to Fall Semester 2026!
• Your future starts now. Don’t wait for opportunity. Create it.
• Visit Career Services
• Get connected
• Get career-ready
• Get started

Ever feel like you’re just spilling everything? 🍎🛒

A visual exploration of my recent experiences. I sketched this one day after feeling like I had been knocking, spilling, or dropping everything. It stuck in my head and led me to turning it into a poster design. This one definitely challenged my masking, shadowing, and typography skills, but I learned so much from it!😅

Can you relate to the “spilling” feeling lately? 🫠 Let me know

✨ More work in bio!

I sold my Last HELIOS THE DRAGON TAMER print, and I only have the original left.

It was so much fun meeting new friends, artists, and clients all alike in a beautiful restaurant in one big city!!!
