Shout out to @brat_band for showing up to @wtul at 8 AM to be on the radio with us!

They're spending the day building an outdoor stage by hand so that they can then destroy it tonight when they play their album release show at @nolajazzmuseum . Talk about some real rockers! 😤😤😤

We’re so excited! Our album “Queen Like A Bee,” is up for nomination for the Grammy Awards in these categories:

Best American Roots Performance: Queen Like a Bee, Rooster

Best American Roots Song: Queen Like a Bee, Rooster

Best Regional Roots Music Album: Queen Like a Bee

“Queen Like a Bee,” is a flavorful blend of music that evokes the back porches, vast prairies, sweaty dance-floors, raucous streets, and haunting bayous of our Louisiana.

There’s something to stir everyone… body, heart, and soul, in this mix of both ancestral and original South Louisiana sounds.

Take a peek at the album on all streaming platforms:

Did you know!?

We play all of our music for Paper Dolls using physical media!! And so much of that physical media comes from WTUL’s big collection of albums over the years, each with its own contemporary review from when it was added. Here is a selection of some indie pop staples from our show so far…

You can catch our next episode of Paper Dolls at midnight TONIGHT!! ((central time))
