Holy amazing season, fall season was an amazing time, i was able to meet the most incredible section of my life and the most funny group ever, I will love these kind people for the rest of my life and I especially will miss Aoi and Chris as they move out of high school. It’s unfortunate that I’m moving and can’t do winter with these people but hopefully i’ll be back soon to spend a couple more years with this glorious section.

The fall season is sadly over, so it’s time to say goodbye to our two GOATED seniors, Aoi and Chris. They have dedicated their time to the band for all 4 of their high school years. They’ve put in countless hours practicing on and off the field, and their efforts have never gone unnoticed. Chris is a wonderful section leader, helping us grow throughout the year, as well as doing all the heavy work loading the trucks, alongside Aoi controlling the lift. They both made being in battery such a great experience. Although they always say they hate battery, we know that deep down, they love us, and that (hopefully) won’t change as the years go by. We will miss them dearly, there will always be a place for them in our hearts 🥹. As Chris always says, “pound it, knog it, cya!”

Thanksgiving is coming up soon, and we’re extremely thankful for the outcome of Division Champs!
We’re also grateful for all our amazing percussion instructors, our band directors, and the designers and writers of this show for allowing us to perform such fun yet difficult music in a high school band! We’re here and we get to have these experiences because of the work of all these people.
Regardless of the outcome of Championships in 2 weeks, this season has been one of the best.
Come support us for the Heist of the Century one last time this season on December 6th at Colony High School!

WOODBRIDGE HS - “PLACES OF PEACE” (end of season band post #2)

Incredibly proud of this ensemble!! This was Woodbridge’s first year putting a marching winter drumline program in SCPA, and they made finals and placed 10th in their first year out. The students rose to the challenge of performing both a marching A class program and concert World class program, and everyone grew an enormous amount through the season.

This was a unique Lo-fi inspired program and it was super fun to design with @indianaak and @micool_tran!! Shoutout to @jmc_cinema, @gabemichelss, and @that._.reptileguy on battery staff, and @_whitneytaylor on front staff as well for getting it done and helping the students to success ☀️
