London Mid-Autumn Fair 🌕🥮✨

We spent the weekend at the London Mid-Autumn Fair by Urban Garden Fair @urban_garden_fair — a lovely mix of food, mooncakes, crafts, workshops, live music and lantern riddles (which, somehow, we were much better at than expected 😂)

One of my favourite things was getting to meet some already-beloved small businesses — Good Things London @goodthings.london, Yumm Singa @yummsinga, Cantoast Bakery @cantoastbakery and Crea @wearecreauk — while discovering some new favourites along the way, including Wunder Makes @wunder.makes, Yeah! Choux @yeah.choux and Taste of Snow @taste_of_snow 🤍

But more than anything, I loved the feeling of community around the whole fair — celebrating Mid-Autumn together, chatting to makers, trying far too many treats and, naturally, spending an entirely reasonable amount of money on mooncakes (in various forms) 🌕 ...It was not an entirely reasonable amount, but who cares?! 😂

The vendor list was stacked this year so I brought BACK UP! Here's everything we ate at @urban_garden_fair mid autumn fair:

(authentic delicious takoyaki - rare find!)
@cantoastbakery - salted egg toast/ black sesame toast (toast was less crispy this time but flavourful toppings!)
@cornucopia_london - Thai milk tea canele (great texture!)
@rollingbakery.uk - black sesame mochi bun/hojicha mochi bun (matcha one still my fav)
@guru.kitchen23 - beef ho fun ⭐ (best beef ho fun 🔥)
@yeah.choux - choux bun/mochi ⭐
(freshly piped choux soo crispy/fresh mochi with soo much filling)!

Have 100+ videos to edit down but couldn't wait to share one of my surprise top eats at @urban_garden_fair mid autumn fair which was this 'mooncake' ice cream from @wunder.makes

I love salted egg yolk so the HUGE chunks of sweet salted egg yolk really give it so much flavour. Could have this all year round!

Hope to see wundermakes again and have their ice cream as they make unique flavours!
