How it started (1&2)
How it’s going (3&4)
.
After 7 days having & recovering from back surgery the time has come. Discharge day! I’m going a rehab facility few blocks away from the hospital for about a week and then home.
I got my drain tubes removed not long ago. Then my first full shower in a week and off to rehabbing. #BabySteps

This is what an incision from T10-S1 looks like. I’m four days post-op and the difference in my pain is night and day, seriously. For those of you asking “what the fuck happened”, then here you go. I had my biggest surgery to date on Friday. I was fused from T10-L3 AND THEN they reinstated hardware from L3-S1. I’m healing nicely, and in a few months I get to do it all over again, but with my neck.

Nine years ago today we had a party, fed some people, said some words, and got married. It hasn’t always been the smoothest of sailing, she married me for fucks sake, but it’s always been an adventure. Happy 9th anniversary to my Pirate Queen! I love you @wuvva! #HoldFast #Pirates
