Famed artist William Schaff @williamschaff has graced us with an incredible, hand-made double poster set for our upcoming Dec. 5 tribute to the late great Jason Molina @jasonmolina. Just have a gander at these beauties!! 🎨🖌️🔥 Schaff is the creator of the iconic cover art on Songs: Ohia’s 2003 album “The Magnolia Electric Co.” (And a great many other records!) There could be no better set of images to represent this day-long homage to Mr. Molina, with whom he shared a close friendship.

We’re truly honored to host this event featuring a special screening of Tommy Nickoloff’s @tommynick4real recent documentary “You Fuckers Figure It Out: A Jason Molina Story” – an intimate and moving portrait of Molina’s life – and nearly five hours of live music by 7 extraordinary talents who share in Molina’s deep and heartfelt musical ethos.

It all kicks off at the WVU Mountainlair Gluck Theatre from 4:00 – 8:20 pm and continues at 123 Pleasant St @123pleasant, 8:30 pm – midnight (hence the double poster set 😎).

Get your tickets ASAP as seating is limited! 🎟️ Link to tickets in bio! 🎟️ Admission to both events is $30 (WVU students and faculty $10 - DM for discount code). VIP Tickets are also available.

🖼️ Prints of these awesome artworks can be preordered with ticket purchase. Thank you, William Schaff, for supporting this event with your amazing work!

Dec 5th 2026‼️Heartfelt thanks to @johnfaraone for playing ANOTHER YFFIO: A #jasonmolina Story event! This time in Morgantown #westvirginia
After the screening with @wvmsff
You do NOT want to miss this.

John played such and amazing and heartfelt #tribute to Jason after the screening of You Fuckers Figure It Out: A Jason Molina Story @flickers.riiff @uptowntheaterprov ❤️

Not only was is the largest audience for the film, it was the most passionate (I gotra tell ya, Chicago nights outdone it since) and John brought our evening to a close with a glorious celebration in song.

I know I will fail at naming all of you who were in attendance and promoted the PVD event, but I will try. THANK YOU for all of your L❤️VE and support !!!
