Right before a storm rolled in, we were filming our video about the Mavs' move to Valley View, and the wind definitely had other plans. 😂 It was blowing me all over the place, making this one of the most challenging shoots I've ever done—but we kept rolling! Sometimes the outtakes are just as entertaining as the finished video!

Today marks my last day at FOX 4, and ‘grateful’ doesn’t even begin to cover it!

Walking into this newsroom after graduating college, I had no idea what to expect from this industry. I could have never anticipated the doors this place would open or the trust my managers would place in a news newby.

From starting as a web writer to getting the opportunity to be on-air daily sharing what I love, fill-in anchoring, writing national stories and welcoming millions of new friends to our social platforms, it’s been an absolute whirlwind in the best way possible.

Thanks to the guidance of some truly incredible mentors, I was honored to be ranked a top writer for FOX stations nationwide and to see our TikTok become one of the top local news accounts in the country. To have achieved this by age 24 in a top-4 market is a testament to the team that supported me and the community that showed up for us every single day!

I am going to miss our loyal viewers in North Texas and most of all, my amazing coworkers who became family. FOX 4 truly raised me in this industry, and I’m forever grateful.

Excited to share what’s next soon! Stay tuned🤭
