This is what real development looks like

Both athletes trained consistently this summer BUT they both had different needs

@wyatt_olson.12 is already committed. The main goal for him this summer was to stack on some size. He successfully put on 15lbs AND came out of it as a better athlete. There was some dips in performance initially (which is expected when putting on size) but we didn’t look at these dips as a negative… it was actually the goal

@brogan.barnes7 had a different situation this summer. He’s an elite level athlete so he earned the ability to chase exposure this summer. Since his focus was on performance, we continued to sharpen his tools this summer

This is the value of individualized training. All training programs are build based on the athletes needs, not just generic development

⛱️ Seeing beach balls at the plate. Wyatt Olson (@wyatt_olson.12) hit two nukes in one game at #TheClubInvitational by Rawlings. The left-handed hitter had a walk-off run-rule grand slam to end it and a solo shot to dead center. Picked up three hits in the contest with five runs batted in. Not a batter you want to face right now as he’s showing off some major, developing power. • 6-2, 195 lbs. • 1B/OF • @gbgbaseballusa • Point Loma (CA) 2027 • @usfdonsbaseball commit #DudeAlert #baseball #FiveToolPower
