What's the story behind the mountain match? Well.... here you go. The one im using in the video is the prototype i made 4+ years ago with a 5/ 16th ferro rod. I have used it pretty religiously and am currently on my 5th wick. The ones i sell are 3/8"ferro rods and a bit longer than my prototype. With that being said, the ones i sell should last a very, very long time, lol. As stated, i have two walnut handle rods available now for $75 shipped CONUS. If you have specific materials or a special layout you would like in the handle.... let me know. Custom rods are fun to do!!!! Happy hump day, folks. Stay blessed, be well, and keep moving forward...... embrace the suck!!!!! #bushcraft #survival #cigar #fire #blessed

We love creating 4-season Hammock Camping Gear. When it comes to brave cold-weather adventures, we have your back! 🥶🌳

Featured in this reel is our 0°F Wooki underquilt with 2 oz of overfill. The ultimate setup for staying toasty warm off the frozen ground.

Looking for even more extreme protection? We also manufacture our Scandinavian rated underquilt, which our community has trusted in temperatures below -25°F.

⚠️ Safety reminder: Deep winter camping requires the proper experience and layering systems. Always test your limits safely!👇

What’s the coldest temperature you’ve ever slept in? Drop your record below! ⬇️

What’s been your go to underquilt temp rating these past few months and why? From what we have seen, every kind of temp rating has been used bar ultra cold ratings like the Scandinavian or 0 Fahrenheit. For us, The topic of UQ is just too important to skip on. It’s simply a must have in the field to stay warm and protected. Hypothermia is a real danger even in summer so always try to pair your hammock with an under-quilt. Always stay safe out there!
