This past weekend, I achieved my lifelong dream of becoming a doctor! I honestly can’t put into words how grateful I am for this chapter and for all the people who helped me get here. I never imagined how much fun it would be to spend four years on a stinky island with a group of bright-eyed late twenty-somethings figuring it all out together. It truly was the time of my life, and I feel so lucky to have shared this journey with such incredible classmates and friends.

Thank you to everyone who supported me, encouraged me, and cheered me on along the way. And thank you to my superman med husband, who quite literally carried me through these years. There were so many mornings he would wake up at 4 a.m. with me to make breakfast and warm up my car before work. I literally did not cook a meal for myself my entire third year because he would send me to Galveston with a cooler of meal prep every Sunday. I truly could not have done this without him.

And thank you to my dad, the first Dr. Till, for a lifetime of support, guidance, and years of financing my education lol. Having him hood me at my graduation ceremony was one of the most meaningful moments of my life, and one I’ll cherish forever.

This little girl who dressed her American girl doll in scrubs and a white coat would be so proud of Dr. Victoria Till, MD.

It still doesn’t feel real. This is a dream come true! I matched into orthopedic surgery at Texas Tech!

I wouldn’t be here without the giant village of people who surround me. I am beyond grateful for the incredible support, encouragement, and belief that so many of you have poured into me these last 4 years!
