POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A year after wrapping, The Space Between has made its way back home.

What started as an idea became long days, late nights, countless sacrifices, and a labor of love brought to life right here in Cleveland. To have this film return as an Official Selection of the Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival is incredibly meaningful.

To every member of our cast and crew, thank you for sharing your talent, your generosity, and your belief in what we were creating together. Your dedication turned words on a page into something real, and I’m forever grateful to have shared this journey with you.

Thank you GCUFF for welcoming our film.

I can’t wait for you all to experience it.

Welcome to another Thesis Thursday!

🎬 Crossfaded: Thesis Film

Written & Directed by Jeffrey Rucker
Genre: Coming-of-Age, Stoner Comedy

A coming-of-age stoner film made for the homies, by the homies.

When a cynical, weed-pedaling stoner and a people pleasing social drinker are trapped in the basement of a frat party, the two strangers struggle to connect in a seemingly superficial world.

Crossfaded doesn’t stop here. Jeffrey Rucker is already working to expand the project into a feature-length film and has begun writing the script for its next chapter.

Take a peek at the film’s Patreon page to support the process and get a deeper look behind the making of Crossfaded. 🎬 You can even watch the film for just $1.

Shoutout to Jeffrey Rucker and the entire crew behind Crossfaded!

It’s been only 7 days… Wow. We had no idea we were cooking this whole time. Just wanted to tell the kind of story that Hollywood wouldn’t tell for us. One Love.🙌🏾

Keep dreaming & scheming.❤️‍🔥

Although ‘Crossfaded: Thesis Film’ is a mostly a two-hander coming of age stoner comedy, it takes place within a frat house party.

On this day last year, we had our Extras Day! All in one 13-hour day, we filmed all of our shots and scenes that featured any extras (my friends)!! Many of us (cast & crew) kicked off the morning at 10am and more folks trickled in a bit later on, over time. By the night, we had a yard full of homies who came out to support and I couldn’t be more grateful for them all! There was like 30 of us. 🎬💛💜

Tbh I was a bit overstimulated at times. Directing is still new for me and trying to orchestrate so many moving elements at once was a little tricky. It was a long day with many shots on schedule. However, working with so many talented hands made it easier to handle. Too many people showed up for us to not get what we needed. So we stayed calm, and got through it all, together.💯

‘Crossfaded: Thesis Film’ releases this Tuesday, March 10th, 2026, only on Patreon, for as little as $1.
