This summer was a natural high 😋

TMB— 9 days, 103 miles, 10,000m of elevation.

During this time we met incredible friends from all over the world. The hard days always made easier by those we crossed paths with, talked to, and walked alongside.

In our time after the Tour, we met wonderful friends in Chamonix. From learning to lead, to La Somone, and then onto my first 6a multi-pitch, Voie Frison-Rouche.

Finally to Norway, Volunteering at Trevarefest, and making so many friends. Lofotpils and Haircuts (thanks to Siri), and about a million PB & J tortillas.

to Xander, for always believing in me and helping me accomplish my goals, making me laugh through my tears when I lose everything, pushing me to do hard things, and above all for your company. my ❤️

Training in the Alps 07/2026.
Personal records: Led the crux and final pitches on “Frejoun Rouche” (195m, French 6a-6a+)
Camped at 3,000m+ elevation for 5 days
Cleared multiple routes on “Le tour”

For the past 9 months all I had been dreaming of was the Queen of the Alps, the mountain where three countries converge the summit that dominated the alps. For 9 months I studied and trained and dedicated countless hours to it, only for the climb to not be in the same condition it was in the past couple years. I had to give up my claim on the Mont Blanc and lay it to rest till next March. Instead choosing to spend the time training and honing myself and my skills. And after almost a month out here I can say I am glad that I did so.
This trip made me realise something so integral about climbing, the Summit doesn’t matter, it is the process of getting there and doing things the right way that does, thanks to the help of my incredible climbing partner and brother @ffletchboyslim and my great teacher @gcdqdylan I finally remembered my love for climbing in and of itself, and realised that I truly wish to live a long and prosperous life and career in the mountains.
In this time frame I lead up the crux and final pitches of “Frejoun Rouchs” clearing my highest (195m) and hardest multi pitch, and spent 5 nights camping in the freezing alps (clearing the various and difficult routes of Le Tour).
I enjoyed every step of the way and am truly glad the Mont Blanc wasn’t in condition for summit for I feel truly more capable as a climber (while I still have a long way to go and study).
If I’ve learnt anything not just about climbing but about life it is that it is unpredictable so play it safe and cultivate knowledge and skills where you can, and when life allows it take risks such as camping in the cold or letting two strangers you met at the crag crash on your couch.
I am truly grateful for this time and cannot wait to be back sooner rather than later and keep pursuing all branches of climbing to their fullest.
