The most difficult decision I’ve had to make was to end my club career with my best friends from this season. It’s so incredibly hard to finish my time in a sport I’ve played for 9 years and watched my sisters play since I was old enough to be brought along. Thank you to all of the coaches who pushed me to be the best athlete and person I could be both on and off the court. A5 has been my home since before I was even on a team, and I will forever be grateful that I had the opportunity to play for the #1 club in the country with the most incredible teammates. Thank you to the girls who made the 7:30 AM practices, the practices that ran until the gym lights turned off, the frustrating games and refs, the tears and the laughter worth every second. I wouldn’t trade my experience for the world, and I have the girls I’ve truly spent every minute with to thank for that. You don’t truly bond with anyone until you’ve seen them at their best and worst, and these girls were there for each other and myself through all of it. Lastly, thank you to my parents who flew across the country, drove many long hours, and cheered me on throughout my entire career. I never would’ve made it this far without their endless support and I am so incredibly grateful to have them.

So incredibly blessed to do what I love and be shaped by so many amazing young women along the way. This is my thank you to you. You have impacted me far more than you know. You’ve taught me patience, grace, compassion, and how to lead with both softness and strength. Every athlete who has crossed this space, no matter how long our paths have aligned, has left an imprint on me and helped shape the coach, leader, and woman I am today. This has always been bigger than volleyball, and I carry deep gratitude for the trust you’ve placed in me to be part of your journey. 🤍
