WOW!

28 trips around the sun & a couple trips around the world.

Grateful doesn’t even cover it.
This year stretched me, humbled me, and blessed me in ways I didn’t see coming.
Every win, every lesson, every hard season was part of the plan, and I’m thankful God kept me through all of it.

To the people who rode with me, prayed for me, and pushed me: I love y’all. And I really mean that from the bottom of my heart. I would not still be here without ya.

Year 28, I’m walking in his purpose with open hands and a full heart. Because if God is with me…

All glory to the man upstairs. 28 here we go!!

@f2wbjj Pittsburgh was truly a night to remember!

I was finally able to put on a show here in Pittsburgh with my teammates, and was able to pick up the win via triangle. It felt great to be back on the stage again, and feel those nerves right before you walk. I learned a lot from this match, and I know what I can get better at. Thank you to my family at @stoutpgh and @matfactorywrestlingclub for pushing me and getting me better everyday.

@randy_v_bjj for preparing me for these big moments, and always improving my game with small details. I wouldn’t be where I am today without you!

3 Things Barbering Taught Me 👇

1. The “freedom” from barbering can be misleading.
- Barbering gives you the freedom to make your own schedule. The important part is making sure I am taking advantage of the time I create for myself outside of the shop to build something bigger. Not just coasting day to day because I can!
2. You cannot please everyone!
- Not everyone is going to like your personality, style of cutting, prices, etc. But it is up to you to see the upside to every situation. Your job isn’t to win everyone over, it’s to keep improving and attract clients who value what you bring!
3. Adjusting on the fly!
- Mistakes happen. Miscommunication happens. Clients change their minds. Clients being late happens. At the end of the day, it’s up to your ability to adapt and make adjustments where they’re needed!
