JUMP DAY @xavierbarrow__ @jnxzon

Jumping isn’t just for show, it’s a skill that needs to be trained with intent, frequency, and variety. Today’s session was all about vertical development and applying max force fast.

Jump Variations -> reactive strength, coordination, joint resilience
Pin Squats -> pure output + positional strength under heavy load

For hoopers, pin squats train that deep squat starting position, similar to the low athletic stance used when absorbing contact, rebounding, or exploding out of a cut, No momentum, Just power.

College basketball demands explosiveness, joint integrity, and force absorption. This is how we build it.

You can find so much power in being able to focus your mind on the next opportunity.

You are going to miss thousands of jump shots, hundreds of layups, and you are going to miss out on so many chances to do things. But there will ALWAYS be another opportunity for you to come through and take advantage.

You can either get down on yourself about your previous shortcomings or seize every opportunity that comes your way.
