Dear Yellowstone,

I don’t think I’ll ever be able to put into words what this place has meant to me. Yellowstone has changed me in ways I never could have imagined. It changed my perspective on life, pushed me outside of my comfort zone, and made me branch out in ways I didn’t know I was capable of.
I came here not knowing what to expect, and I’m leaving with some of the most beautiful memories, the biggest lessons, and people who became some of my closest friends. I came into this summer going through one of the most heartbreaking seasons of my life, and somehow, Yellowstone helped heal a heart it never broke. To all the people who made this summer what it was thank you. Thank you for the late-night talks, the random last-minute trips, the laughs until our stomachs hurt, the memories I’ll carry with me forever, and for being there during a season when I needed people more than I realized.

Aubree thank you for forcing me to come. We went through alot this summer. From being roommates to going through all the highs, lows, laughs, tears, and chaos together, I truly couldn’t imagine experiencing it with anyone else. This has genuinely been the best summer of my life, and I’m so grateful I got to experience it with you. You kept me going when I didn’t know if I could, you reminded me who I was, and you brought back the version of me that I felt like I had lost. I’m beyond blessed to have you in my life, and our friendship is something I will always hold so close to my heart. My bestie, my soulmate, my side quest sister I love you 3000!

I came to Yellowstone thinking I needed a change of scenery, but I’m leaving with a whole new perspective. Thank you, Yellowstone, for giving me a summer I’ll never forget, friendships I’ll cherish forever, and a version of myself I’m so happy to have found again.

Until next time, Yellowstone. You were pretty great 🤍🏔️

I watched you drive around the bend for
What I thought would be the last time I saw my friend
But love has ways of bringing things back to life
All you said was, "Hi"
And I remembered I loved you
Came back when it mattered, I saw you
Standing there in the light of the window
Wearing that same smile
Man, it's been a while
But I knew it, I knew you
