Designer Spotlight: XelaElle 🎄

Ufuoma Avbovbo founded @xelaelle in Houston in 2018 and built it into a name behind high-end residential estates and luxury commercial properties nationwide. She also teaches, running annual Christmas in July masterclasses that train the next generation of holiday stylists on both luxury design and wholesale execution.

“It’s a privilege for people to let you into their homes and businesses and trust you to bring them an exceptional experience.”

This garland will go down in history as one of my favorite creations to date! @alasmarci and I were up for challenge and made the backdrop for our fabulous designer friend @xelaelle for her “Pearl Experience.” I was honored and grateful for the opportunity to create such an amazing piece of art for an incredible designer! The ladies loved every second of this experience! Luxurious and precisely the execution for this event! @craftexinc has the most amazing products to bring these visions to life!

Christmas in July hit different this year! I invested in my craft, walked into a room full of luxury and left poured into. @XelaElle created something truly special and I’m still processing all of it. So Much Maur Designs is leveling up and I cannot wait to show you what’s coming this holiday season. 🙌🏾

It's mid week and I'm still on a high from this past weekend. @xelaelle pulled out all the stops and nailed every detail. So many of my Christmas sisters were present. I'm celebrating Christmas all month long 💚❤️

Day 2 was undeniable. It reminded me why I show up for the craft. @xelaelle, @rockylcrabtree, and @instamikesegura showed up and showed out! So many gems and nuggets were shared. Grateful for the wisdom poured out, the connections made, and the clarity that comes when you’re surrounded by people who love what you love. Day 2 did exactly what it needed to do! 🤍🎄🤍🎄🤍

Before I can officially post anything from my weekend in Houston, I need you to know someone.

This is Ufuoma, of @xelaelle and as you will see from her page - with her designs, she creates EXTRAORDINARY experiences.

This weekend was #ThePearlExperience ✨ a two-day, immersive, Christmas in July Workshop, for Christmas and Holiday Design Professionals.

I was there.

I was gagged.
*notice the SILENCE in the room while we watched her design that tree

I was blessed.

This woman created an experience I cannot get over. She prayed before every session and energized the room with goodness!

I keep smiling and crying at random moments thinking about everything I learned, everything I felt, everyone I finally got to meet - and her. SHE was The Experience. My life is forever blessed because of this 🥹

Thank you, Ufuoma 🤍

*Stay tuned - LOTS more to share!
