“The Shooting Star Thief 3 (Ruby)”

👓👾🌟 “Team Cthulhu was here!”

Size: A5
Medium: watercolors from @mrbwatercolors on cold-pressed paper

This time, I tried to steal a ruby star 🌟 at the request of @xhorus77!

It wasn’t looking much like a shooting star, so I had to summon Team Cthulhu 😎✨

For Cthulhu, I used @mrbwatercolors’ turquoise-green-ish opaque color and Brick Red very generously, building up many layers and lifting them repeatedly…

For the night sky, I used @mrbwatercolors’ Antique Copper.

BUT… I used masking fluid on the star, the ruby star, and the Fiddolls… 😢

Even though this was just a study, my heart still broke a little 🥲

From now on, no masking fluid on painted areas 🙂‍↕️

Until you open it, you both will and won’t inherit everything… so, better to open and know for sure, or live in a quantum state of theoretical abundance?
