Some times small gestures make a big impact. This quarantine has taught me many lessons as I am sure it has all of you. One of the lessons it has offered has to do with the power of connection and how sometimes just seeing someone’s face on a screen and hearing words like “ I miss you” can have a huge impact on your day. Being the husband to such a strong woman sure does make life more enjoyable and full filling than it other wise could be. However one challenge being with a strong individual is knowing when they themselves need the extra support. Mandy isn’t a high maintenance person, doesn’t need fancy things and doesn’t like being the center or attention (that’s more a me thing) but I know that seeing her friends and family take the time to say hi and throw back a birthday shot meant they world to her. #covid19 #quarentinebirthday #covidparty @_mandykins_ My hope is that everyone continues to invest the time and effort in reaching out to those you care for. Whether it’s a text, phone call or zoom party even introverts like me appreciate the feeling of connection and the more you give the more you inevitably receive. Take care if others and we will all be ok. Thanks again for everyone that said happy birthday to my beautiful wife and spent some time with me and the fam. We love you and wish you all the best. See you soon!

My family stayed at the Ronald McDonald House when Tori was in the hospital. They provided comfort and warms meals for Mandy and I through mandy holidays. Time and fortune has treated our family well since then and it feels great to give back, providing a little comfort to families in their time of need. I couldn’t do it alone and I’m so grateful for the like minded, good hearted people around me. Special thanks to: @joselakewoodchamber @joshua_exec @xinminlai @trail_warrior for putting in the time and preparing an awesome meal. Also thanks to @mimimize518 for chipping in on the groceries! #yourock #teamwork #victoryforvictoria
