If you saw my last post, then you know I finally washed my hair 😅—I was well overdue. I needed a fresh start before the weekend to get ready for VOUSCon—basking in God’s presence and experiencing His transformative power ✨🙏🏾

I figured I’d get a quick head start on styling in between two clients. Just a lil something to get it going. But mid-style, I had to pause and set up for my next appointment (because… priorities 😅). I told myself I’d finish later…

But by the time I wrapped my last client, I already knew the beauty supply stores were closed 😩 So I threw together a quick “in-between” style just to hold me down until I could finish the real look.

And the gag is… y’all ATE IT UP 😭🔥

What was supposed to be a temporary fix turned into a whole LOOK. So naturally, I wore it longer than planned 👀😂

Even when I’m freestyling, I still deliver a serve 💁🏾‍♀️✨

Here’s a few clips of me after “finishing” my hair… but let’s be clear—this is just the intermission.

I can’t lie… I’ve been side-eyeing the Mielle Rosemary Mint line for months 😅 The mixed reviews had me shook and SCARED.
But this wash day, I was feeling risky — and babyyyy 😭✨

Y’ALL. The way my scalp felt instantly cleaner, locs felt lighter and my scalp alive?! I was actually in shock.
Now I’m looking at some of y’all sideways for not telling me it was like THAT. 😂

If only the whole wash day went by as fast as the this reel made it seem, right?
