Curls of Steel — Episode 1: Operation Pomazanie

▶️ The 4K version is available on our website: https://curlsofsteel.com

A drama about the identity crisis of a barber from Sofia, forced to reconsider his relationship with his own hairstyle under the pressure of external circumstances.

The film explores themes of faith, friendship, and proper grip technique. The running time affords its characters no chance to put into words what they are going through.

How much of it is fiction is difficult to say: the actors play themselves and decline to comment.

He understood not a word of the sermon.
He knew nothing of the scissors.
He wasn’t even sure he had entered the right building.

But the eagle beside him showed no doubt.

And some questions are better left unasked.

BREAKING. “Occult Dances” is out now.

Listen on our website: https://curlsofsteel.com

The track has already caused quite a stir in certain circles. Literally — the ones standing around the stage.

Audience response: applause, ecstatic cheering, and the complete loss of hair by one attendee.

Available to everyone. Haircut optional.

FIELD REPORT

Subject: Cult.
Location: Basement.
Threat level: high, but danceable.

The hypothesis has been confirmed: with the right beat, any authoritarian regime will eventually start singing along. By track three, the hierarchy had collapsed. By track five, they were calling us prophets.

Downside: we now run the cult.

Upside: the cult has an EXCELLENT SOUNDTRACK.

Coming soon to all platforms.

Three night shoots on the streets of Sofia. An entire block shut down. A stuntman who refused a double. And one pickup truck that survived fourteen takes.

We wanted the real thing: real neon, real asphalt, real fear in the eyes of a man watching someone take away the one thing that doesn’t grow back overnight.

We shot the U-turn nine times. After the first eight, the cameraman said, “One more.” After the ninth, he said nothing.

The fire was real. So was the permit. Almost.

This isn’t a reenactment.

This is how it happened.

There is a common belief that your haircut is your own business. It’s an elegant belief. Unfortunately, reality insists on testing it from time to time — occasionally with methods that have yet to receive industry approval.

This is the story of a man who spent twenty years working on other people’s heads… until one day he had no choice but to take care of his own.

The details are best left untold. They wouldn’t survive the retelling, and a few are still under review by legal counsel. Let’s just say the finale burned brighter than originally intended, and everyone left holding on to their principles.

Some had very little else left to hold.
