Chicago based Punk Rock two piece band Brinstarr started off playing their first show at a DIY rave showcase back in 2021. The band members include Sidaka (Lead vocalist/Electric guitarist) & Sapp (Drummer/Vocalist). During live performances, Chicago based artist Weary Woodsman (Electric Bass) joins the band on stage. As the only traditional sounding punk band on a bill coupled with harsh noise musicians, the Christmas Bride found themselves in an unusual and uncomfortable situation. The venue was dark and damp, the sound of screeching feedback and distorted frequencies filling the air. The Christmas Bride took the stage, feeling out of place and unsure of how their music would be received by the audience. It was a cold day in hell. (8:00)

Jeff and Mickey conjure electric guitar and voice into haunting new-age soundscapes, where singing bowls, bells, and subtle percussion shimmer beneath waves of calm and chaos. Nostalgic Western melodies emerge and dissolve into raw emotion creating an immersive ritual of tension and desire—sultry, commanding, and dangerously seductive. (8:00)

3 Chicago shows left this month that I would love for you to check out! It's been quite a historic summer for too many reasons and being able to share in this collective expression has never felt more important. The world has been feeling like shit, but these shows have been magic so come through and engage with your (our) community. what the fuck else is there to do?? I'm on the road for rest of the month, but would love for you to see all these bands!
