This was not only my debut in Variance, but my debut on THE Martha B. Knoebel! I am so grateful for this experience and I will cherish these memories till the day I die. What am I gonna do on Fridays at 9am? Probably sleep🙂‍↕️

Mads, thank you so much for creating a safe space for each and every one of your cast members. I will miss the days where we were at your house and you let us into your world! Thank you to all the cast members for fostering such a welcoming environment!

This is where you start. This is where you grow. ✨

Miss Xene grew up dancing at KIU, and now she gets to inspire the next generation in the same place that helped shape her. 🩷

From dancer to staff member, we love seeing our alumni come full circle and continue to be part of the KIU family.

Cleithro explores the instability of conscious experience and the consequences that develop when that experience erodes. Gradually discovering the burden of self-awareness, this work reveals an evolutionary paradox-the same cognitive capacities that enable human adaptation and suvival yield a vulnerability to psychological torment. Specifically focusing on compulsive and impulsive brain states, locked-in syndrome, and split-brain syndrome, we discover how consiousness and internality can begin to feel like imprisonment.
