Thank you for participating in our first communal art workshop with @gene__studio . We throughly enjoyed seeing our community immerse themselves in transforming a ball of clay into masterpieces. While also, using that moment of creative expression as a peaceful pause to their everyday life.

We foresee more days like yesterday in our future. 🌱

If you haven't already go on and check out the new issue of @2001.magazine . @sammuller and his wife did an article surrounding my twin brother @jaredhagerbro 's traumatic brain injury experience. Its sort of a thank you letter to all that helped him along the way. It delves into his brain studies (most studied brain in history) to explaining what went down that crazy day in a ditch in palm springs. The world renowned photographer @aacostaa was with us when Jared went down. He was able to capture the moment in real time with the film camera at his hip. All the while aiding to the survival of jrad.
Also our childhood friend and amazing photographer @terrylarue took some shots of Jared. Stunning stuff to say the least.
After three and a half years of this injury jrad is back on the board! Still doing brain studies and is overall ripping.
As his brother and as a person who has been for and with jrad through this, I am in disbelief. He went through hell and kept on walking. Made it out. Crazy stuff.
Much love to all that helped along the way.

using ingredients from all over (my fridge) to make something unfamiliar to all of us - a unique drink that mixes sobriety and mixed race identity (or lackthereof[?])🤔 in cambodia, my family christened thee "little falang" –double edged sword of endearment and othering all in one.

this othering i had experienced in many scenes had taken me to places where i struggled with alcohol and a splinter of inclusion 🥛 i've since adopted "california sobriety". some perks: more mo for dro... among other things i've since forgotten 😳
