Getting ready for my upcoming Napa Valley trip 🍇✈️ and I called on two phenomenal ladies, Cici & Brandi, to get me ALL the way together! 😍✨

And of course, Chef Ang couldn’t show up empty-handed! 😂🤷🏽‍♀️ I brought the entire salon some lunch—my savory Chicken Chili to be exact! 👩🏽‍🍳🥣💖

Now here’s the FULL CIRCLE moment…

🏆 All THREE of us are @kcpcawards Winners!
💖 @xpressionbycc_ & @hairbyb_scissor_hands are both W.E.I. Honorees!

Yesterday was a good one! 🙌🏾

Shout out to @kingenlighten for putting together such a great event, “How ENTREPRENEURS Build Community and Opportunity in 2026.” The room was filled with informative insight, meaningful conversation, and phenomenal entrepreneurs and leaders from our community.

I also have to shout out a few of my W.E.I. @women_entrepreneurs_influencer honorees for showing up and showing out — @lekamassage816 , @splbymj , and @blashedink came through representing well and showcasing the BAG with @dufflebagapparel 🤗

And of course, I have to thank my glam squad for the day — @shelice_mua and @xpressionbycc_ . Thank y’all for always blessing me with your AMAZING talents 🥰💖

Community. Connection. Opportunity. That’s what it’s about.

The Vision Behind W.E.I. 💖

For those just joining us or catching the highlights:

W.E.I. is a God-led vision that began in 2023 with a simple mission: to honor 31 women entrepreneurs and influencers in Kansas City during Women’s Month.

What started as a social media celebration took off into something much bigger:

• 2023 (The Seed): A digital movement where viewers learned, shared, and supported 31 incredible women. Collaborations started sparking instantly!

• 2025 (The Harvest): We took it a step further. W.E.I. Moved from the screen to the table.

• The Goal: An in-person experience to honor these women, network deeply, share resources, and build long-lasting professional relationships.

Why a Brunch?

Because there is no better way to share knowledge and birth new ideas than over a meal. We are honoring women in business, influence, and leadership the way they deserve. 🥂✨💐🏆

Warmly,

W.E.I. Founder
