We were lucky to attend the official plaque presentation honoring SUBLIME’s 1996 self-titled album hitting the milestone of 10 million units sold. The event also included a panel discussion, an acoustic performance, and the opening of the museum’s exhibit, “Sublime: Straight From Long Beach” - which included crazy memorabilia like Brad’s main guitar and his handwritten lyrics to “Garden Grove”. A truly incredible experience. 🌴 ☀️ ✨ #sublime #straightfromlongbeach #grammymuseum

@meshuggah 2025 🔺The term “HEAVY” is subjective when it comes to music - and opinions are based on the genre, style, tone, volume, lyrical themes, musical complexity, technicality, attitude, aesthetic imagery, intensity and aggression - how “extreme” something is and it’s sheer sonic brutality.

Of the countless HEAVY bands I’ve heard and intense shows I’ve seen… NONE are as sonically heavy (in an almost literal mind-bending way) as MESHUGGAH is live.

In my experience and opinion, no one has the sheer POWER and PRESENCE (not to mention the mechanically tight technical precision) that they do, live.

IMO: They’re the HEAVIEST band on the planet. And they never fail to validate that when I see them.

These videos don’t do them any justice.
For the real experience you have to just stand there - like you’re being hypnotized into a trance - while the almost deafening power of the energy moves through you and overwhelms your senses - in the best ways.

I feel like seeing them is an experience like no other - and I highly encourage anyone who appreciates heavy music, but hasn’t yet seen them, to do so before you die. #meshuggah #theforum #inglewood #california #2025
