🇬🇧🇬🇧
We’ve now wrapped up the DGI 2026 outdoor national tournament. I’ve had a good idea of how things were shaping up for a while, but it’s now official that the gold medal in the barebow class is mine. That means I’ve secured gold in both the indoor and outdoor competitions this year.

What I’m most proud of is that my four rounds were once again the tournament's four highest scores, just as they were in the indoor tournament earlier this year.

Recurve u21 World Field Champion 🏆

Honestly I am still trying to process this accomplishment. Field has always been my favorite type of archery strictly to being able to shoot at all different targets of different difficulties. Yankton has been by far the best field course I have shot on and the weather made it even more memorable. There was rain everyday making the trails extremely muddy and slippery causing some of the courses to be shut down. First day of quals was unmarked and was spent with an amazing group of people to make it even better, ending the day in 7th. Second day was marked and spent with another amazing group of people. I was able to climb up the ladder ending in 6th going into eliminations. Elimination day was a lot of fun shooting at the two cherry pickers and being able to take home gold on home soil makes it that much meaningful. As always it is great seeing people from previous championships and meeting new people.

Thank you to my sponsor @wiawis_archery for the amazing and reliable equipment as well as @azarchercoach and Jay Bars for the countless hours of training and words of encouragement leading up to the championship.

My World Archery 3D Championships came to an end on Thursday when I was knocked out by @avajones2915 in the 1/8 elimination round.

It was a back-and-forth match, and I let one too many shots get away from me. But I had a great time shooting with Ava. We had fun out there, and now I’m hoping she crushes it today and brings home another medal for Team USA! 🇺🇸

It has been an incredible experience getting to represent my country at the World Championships. One of the coolest moments was standing on top of the podium at the Field Championships and hearing the national anthem play for Team USA.

I’m going home with some hardware, a lot of great memories, and new friendships from the past two weeks that I’ll never forget.

I’m incredibly thankful for this experience and for everyone who supported me along the way. 🇺🇸🏹

It’s amazing what you can do with the right spine arrow. First end with the new @eastonarchery ace with @xs_wings and @beiterarchery nocks as standard from @ 70m. It went down hill from there but I’ll take the small wins when I can get them 🤣 Thanks Nick @merlin_archery_kent @merlin_archery
