✨ SAM THE MOUNTAIN DOG — STILL WAITING FOR HIS PERSON ✨

It’s hard to believe how far Sam has come since the day we carried him off that mountain. What started as a scared, unsure boy has slowly turned into a sweet, gentle soul who just wants to feel safe and loved.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve learned so much more about who Sam is:

🐾 Dog friendly — though slow, respectful introductions are always the key to his success.
🐾 Walking buddy approved — Sam walks beautifully alongside his friend Kali and seems to really enjoy having a canine companion.
🐾 Toy lover — Toys are becoming one of his favorite ways to relax and build confidence.
🐾 Affectionate shadow — Once he settles in, Sam bonds deeply and will quietly follow you from room to room, just happy to be near his person.
🐾 Dream car passenger — Whether it’s a quick errand or a longer ride, Sam rides calmly and makes the perfect co-pilot.

A few other important details:

🐶 Still just a pup - 12-18 months
💙 Male
✔️ Neutered
🐾Up to date on vaccines
🐶 Shepard mix

Sam is still a sensitive boy at heart, which means he’ll thrive in a patient home that understands decompression and is willing to let trust grow at his pace. But for the person who gives him that chance… the bond you’ll get in return will be something really special.

💜 Sam is looking for a calm, loving home where he can continue blossoming and finally feel like he belongs.

If you’ve been following his story, cheering him on, or wondering if he might be your dog… this is your sign to reach out.

📩 Message me for more information on Sam.

Please share to help this mountain boy find the soft landing he deserves. 💜🐾

❄️The universe just seems to know when you’re gonna need your people. Might have been a much different weekend if you weren’t with me the weekend we took this trip to Flagstaff 3 1/2 weeks ago @xtinacc 🤍 Thank you for for taking the trip with me because you knew I needed the escape & mental break, & thank you for the support & comforting words on the way back home. Thankful & appreciative to have a friend like you in my life. ❤️❄️
